Strategy Over Tragedy was founded to address one dire statistic: people with disabilities remain at the greatest risk of poor outcomes, including loss of life, in disaster scenarios. From Katrina to COVID and countless disasters in between, the statistics are predictable. If we want different outcomes in disaster preparedness, we must change our approach. To truly change outcomes, we cannot focus on one population or another; there must be a unified approach including people with disabilities, first responders, and other entities involved in emergency management during a disaster. We are resources for one another. For this reason, we provide an array of services for a wide range of clientele.
